You won’t lose autofocus and you can use your current lens like a macro without disrupting your shooting style. The drawback is image quality might suffer a bit due to another layer of glass on your lens.

Get the proper exposure and set your camera first then use your adapter. Frame your shot properly, move your camera forward and backward while focusing too until it’s sharp. Take a deep breath and snap it right away.
